Multiple follow-ups are required for the following specialisations to allow for monitoring to support behaviour changes that may improve health outcomes. Treatment plans and session frequency are discussed before committing to any plans:Nutrition for a Healthy Heart (high cholesterol, high blood pressure)
Disordered Eating (Binge Eating, Bulimia - only medically stable clients can be accepted)
IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome)

We'll review your health history, dietary habits, and goals in detail. You'll leave with a personalised nutrition plan tailored to your lifestyle and needs.
Check in on your progress, troubleshoot any challenges, and refine your plan. Regular follow-ups help you stay on track and adjust as needed.

VIRTUAL SESSIONS WITH PATIENT NUTRITION-
Each session will involve a mixture of nutrition education and collaboration to create realistic, achievable goals. If any challenges arise we will work through and approach them together.
A summary of the consult will also be emailed to you along with any relevant electronic resources for your review.

My style of nutrition therapy is warm, inclusive, empathetic, nurturing, supportive, non-judgemental, creative, gentle and collaborative.

Most people benefit from 2-3 sessions to ensure well-paced support that also allows space for troubleshooting nutrition interventions and accountability (see previous section for general nutrition specialisations under this category).
Due to the nature of some specialisations such as disordered eating and IBS, these require multiple follow ups. Programs can be created for these specialisations to accommodate this.

Unfortunately, I work exclusively via telehealth which compliments how my service is delivered.

In our sessions I will provide you with meal ideas and options while teaching you skills to create adequate nourishing meals. I will coach you through this to support a personalised approach that fosters positive lifelong nutrition changes.

A 20% deposit ($46NZD) will be required prior to your initial appointment to secure your booking. Invoices are sent via email. Subsequent sessions require payment within 7 days of your appointment.
Some insurance providers cover dietetic services and care delivered by a NZ Registered Dietitian - please check your policy prior to booking an appointment. If your policy includes dietitian cover, insurance providers often provide a reimbursement to the policyholder; we can supply an itemised invoice if needed.
